Civil Partnerships in Sussex

East Sussex hosts one of the most gay friendly cities in England - Brighton - the so-called Soho by the Sea. Of course, this has fine wedding venues but you can also find a warm welcome in Eastbourne, Bexhill and the country houses and hotels dotted around the county, which combines coastal and hilly landscapes.

For your guests who want to make a weekend of it, there are plenty of attractions such as Herstmonceux Castle, the Greenwich Royal Observatory and the castles at Hastings, Lewes, Pevensey and Bodiam.

Friends travelling from France can also reach your wedding venue by ferry coming into Newhaven. Or from further afield via the international airport at Gatwick. It is also well serviced by trains from Victoria station in London.

West Sussex combines hills and sea for a perfect setting for your wedding. The main towns in the county of West Sussex are Chichester, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Bognor Regis, Worthing and Littlehampton. There is a wide range of gay friendly wedding venues for you to choose from.

In terms of local attractions, if your guests want to make a weekend of your civil partnership celebrations, they could visit Arundel Castle, Goodwood race course or the South Downs.
